Zine & Comics

Zine (n.)
/zeen/

A zine is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via a copy machine. Zines are the product of either a single person or of a very small group, and are popularly photocopied into physical prints for circulation. (wikipedia)

I told my mom I wanted to grow up to be a comic artist when it was 2008. Fast forward, I made my first zine in 2019, won Broken Pencil's Best Comic Zine Award in 2022, and gave a panel talk on comics in 2023.

Comic is my sancturary and communication. Slowly but steadily, I'm working towards a chilhood dream.
